Miso Ginger Dressing

This is classic Japanese-styled dressing. Miso ginger dressing is a tangy and savory dressing that has that iconic miso flavor. Miso is a Japanese fermented soybean paste that is salty and has an umami flavor that makes this salad dressing amazing. Even though you can taste the miso, this elegant dressing is not at all overpowering. It is the perfect light and refreshing salad dressing for a snack, lunch, or dinner. The aromatic flavor of roasted seeds shines through with the sesame oil. Miso ginger dressing is great on any green salad, or you can even use it as a stir-fry sauce and sauté it with vegetables and fish. I like to use the blender to get a thicker, creamier texture.

Ingredients:

Adjust Servings
¼ cup grapeseed oil
¼ cup dark sesame oil
¼ cup rice vinegar
A 1-inch long piece of ginger (cut into small pieces)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons white or yellow miso
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons plain yogurt

Directions

1.
Add ginger, garlic, miso, lime juice, and plain yogurt in a blender or a food processor. Blend for 30-second.
Mark as complete

Mix the rice vinegar with the grapeseed oil and sesame oil and slowly add it to the food processor. Blend the dressing again until it comes together.

Adjust seasoning and keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until it is ready to be used
