2
Build the Braising Liquid
In a bowl, mix together chicken stock, water, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Pour this flavorful liquid over the artichokes in the Dutch oven. Drizzle olive oil on top, then place lemon slices over each artichoke to infuse brightness as they braise.

Braise Until Tender
Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and bake for about 2 hours. Every 30 minutes, check on the artichokes and baste them with the braising liquid to keep them moist and full of flavor. Make sure they stay partially submerged for even cooking.

Once the artichokes are fork-tender, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 20 minutes. Scoop out the roasted garlic from the artichokes and combine it with yogurt, salt, pepper, and a few spoons of the braising stock. Whisk until smooth to create a creamy roasted garlic yogurt sauce. Arrange the braised artichokes on a serving platter and spoon or serve with the sauce on the side. Enjoy every tender, lemon-garlic bite!
