1 cup raw almonds | |
3 cups fresh water | |
1 teaspoon vanilla ( optional ) |

Prepare your almonds by soaking them in water overnight.

The next day, strain the water and the fresh 3 cups of water to the almonds and water into a blender and blend until it becomes a smooth consistency.

Pour the mixture through a nut bag, strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher to remove any leftover bits of almond.

Add vanilla extract, or other flavorings to flavor your almond milk while mixing in the blender.
Store the almond milk in an empty bottle. You can keep this milk in the fridge for up to four days. Enjoy!
